You never know where life will take you. Our family recently experienced a "bump" in our journey that we had not expected to experience . I have just not been able to blog about it. My last blog was about our excitement before the birth of our first grandchild. This blog is about the loss and grieving of the stillbirth of our first grandchild.
God has brought us through some amazing stuff through this journey and I am thankful that we have had His guidance through this. Our daughter and her husband are doing remarkably well, at least that is what we are perceiving. As the old adage goes "life does go on" and one learns how to deal and get on with life.
We were so priviledged to be able to hold our little Lucy Marie after she was born and that allowed us to really know that we had a granddaughter. We were blessed by that moment in time that we will never forget!

Welcome back! I'd stopped checking your site but thought I'd take another look. I certainly understood your hiatus and respected your need to step back for a while. Your words bring those of us who care about you alongside the grief journey and we are privileged to share in it with you.
